Never Gonna Die

BS-006 Butcher Cover

The Bay Area's Butcher Cover have been slinking around the city of Oakland for a couple of years now (first as a two piece, now as a full band). With the few shows they've played, come stories of bad bathroom habits, broken bones/instruments, trampled cars/(un)fortunate onlookers, and drug induced psychosis all in a tangle of dinosaur heads, lucha libres and a mess of unplugged wires, broken bottles and bad manners. They play hardcore how it was always meant to be played, simply bashing on each instrument with no desire to make nice with anyone. These four songs showcase the bullies of the Bay Area with disgusting accuracy. Edition of 330.

BS-008 Fogna

This EP contains some of the filthiest, noisiest hardcore tunes that I've heard in many years. Two men, one drum machine, 6 songs. An incredible conceptual blast of tunes that hold up against anything in Italian punk and Japanese hardcore from the early 80's. 2nd Press edition of 200.

BS-010 Tarantisimo Summit Vol II: Solitary Mutant Series

What initially started as an album to showcase four striking personalities from the Chicago/Detroit area has festered into a conceptual journey towards the outer boundries of the human imagination. Featuring music by Timmy Vulgar, Christopher Ilth, Mac Blackout and Jimbo Easter, Tarantisimo Summit Volume II jolts the listener into a space that's equally exciting and comforting as it is cold and frightening. Bat Shit Records couldn't be more proud to release this collection for the labels first ever LP. Some may remember the "Subteranean Modern" compilation from years back featuring Chrome, MX-80 Sound, The Residents and Tuxedomoon which provided a great combination of electronics, psychedelics and post-punk that proved to be a surprising and welcome new sound. The noise pulsing from this record doesn't fall short of the memorable steps left behind by those who no doubt have influenced the musicians etched between these grooves. Nightmare landscapes, buzzing, creeping, fuzzed-out epics, lullibies and tortured tinkering can all be found here to provide the listener with a blissed out bad trip if there ever was such a thing. New sounds and terrifying emotions can be found with each trip, just drop the needle on the tongue. Edition of 500.

$22ppd elsewhere
